How to change passenger's name - Air Asia X

 ana03     tháng 4 09, 2014     Korea spring 2014, travelwithnieta;     No comments

Something happened to my travel partner and she decided not to proceed with the trip due to the health problem. I started 'gugel'ing either I can change the ticket's name or not.. and the good news is... Yes, I can..

Please take note on these two conditions :
          * This is only applied to Korea and Japan destination..
          * Name change is only allowed up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled of departure time

Ok here are the step and charge involved if we want to change the Air Asia X :

1. You can either call the call center of Air Asia X Premium at

600 85 8888 (AirAsia X Premium Line)
Operating Hours: 9am - 6pm (GMT+8)
Monday to Sunday

Available from Malaysian telco – Telekom, Celcom, Maxis & DiGi
Charge: RM 1.95 per minute

                             or

go to any of AA Sales Offices / Airport Sales Counters

2. You will need to produce copies of the identification documents (identity card or passport) of both names involved in the transfer : in my case I just email them. (they will give you an email after the confirmation approved via phone call) - wait until 48 hours

3.  they'll reply your email and give you step by step on how to pay the 'penalty'

4. You have to pay them MYR200.00 for the "panelty".

5. taraaaa.. that's it.. and now my nephew can join the trip =)
