SEYCHELLES SEJŠELI

 ana03     tháng 1 03, 2011     No comments

Seychelles islands are the paradise with a soul. You don't have to spend a fortune to feel it! Rooms are from 50 eur per day, but the place is unique. Places to see:
Mahe island: Capital Victoria is a nice place for a few hours – visit the old market and the botanical gardens. It is worth to rent a car at least for one day, to travel around the island. Interior is worth a stop with tea plantations and some waterfalls...
Praslin island: Small and quiet, you can get around by public bus and combination of walk. The protected natural reserve is nice but the entrance fee is high – but that is the place where coco de mer groves – the biggest kind of coconuts...

La Digue island: Small but beautifull
– easy to spend a week or more. There is almost no traffic – just bicycles, which can be rented.
From
only village there are just a few km to different beaches. The most spectacular is Anse Source D'Argent. If you'd like to visit it every day you should do this at the low tide – so you could avoid the entrance fee an bypass the official entrance along the coast. Good water shoes are recommended. Cheap but tasty creole meals (3eur) are served at the take away in the village.

Tested accommodation
MAHE
Yarrabee in Glacis - Apartments are just off the road, but you won't hear the cars as there is ocean on the other side. House is built over small
rocky cove with excelent views of the sea and island Silhuete. A perfect spot for watching the sunset... There are some
shops close, some small beaches and the bus stop just some meters away... Owners also speak German, Serbian... The flat is very well equiped. www.seychelles-yarrabee.com

La residence apartments at Anse Soleil - Nice spaceus rooms, great view to the bay, close to the beach, not far from a sleepy village with some the shops, restaurants...And not far from known painter Michael Adams Studio... www.laresidence.sc

Reef holiday aparments - the best thing is location - just a few km from the airport. So it is perfect for the first or last days on Seychelles. Apartments are big, with a kitchen, send beach is just acros the road. It is nice for sunbathing but the water is not deep - perfect for children. I more enjoyed small pool at the motel. There is a small store not far and also buses stop near. And a small crafts center about one kilometer away...
